Course Summary

This course aims to develop your understanding of the different forms of abuse. It improves awareness of the signs and symptoms of both abuse and neglect to aid its recognition and identifies what to do if abuse or neglect is suspected.

Promote the safety and well-being of the individuals you support, protecting them from harm and abuse at all times. In part this is achieved by appropriately reporting any situation that causes concern.

Designed to give you the confidence that sharing a concern is the right thing to do, this course will help you to answer questions such as: Why do I have to raise my concern? How do I raise a concern? Who should I tell? What should I do if my concern is not dealt with appropriately?
